Varsity Sports Network (VSN) is redefining the way high school sports are covered. Founded on the belief that every game, every school, and every student-athlete deserves to be seen, VSN combines professional-level production with a local-first focus.

To elevate high school sports by delivering broadcasts, shows, and digital content that connect communities, celebrate athletes, and give local businesses a platform to engage with passionate fans.
Our Story: Georgia Alabama Sports Live
Founded in 2022 by Thrift Barringer, Georgia Alabama Sports Live began as a passion project with nothing more than an iPhone and a Facebook Live stream. Thrift, a media professional with more than a decade of experience, wanted to give high school athletes the recognition they deserve and ensure their hard work never went unnoticed.
From those humble beginnings covering three schools, GASL has grown into a professional broadcast network serving more than 15 schools across East Alabama and West Central Georgia. What started with a handful of volunteers is now a team of 25 producing national quality broadcasts.
Unlike outlets that focus only on marquee sports, GASL covers them all from football and basketball to volleyball, wrestling, soccer, and cheerleading. Today, GASL connects communities, celebrates student athletes, and continues Thrift’s mission: to make sure no athlete is overlooked.
